Default Wichita Sight on S&W 14

Does anyone in PPC shooting have any experience with Wichita Arms Rail sights? I bought a used Clark Custom PPC Revolver and am asking if anyone knows how to adjust this sight in the back where there is a thumb screw wheel and 4 allen screws numbered 1-4? Any info or help will be much appreciated! Thanks

Would assume that it is similar to the four-position front sight supplied on some Smiths. However, Wichita is still around, so I suggest you contact them...

Good luck.

Adios,

The four allen screws are to adjust the elevation at the four distances in PPC, 7, 15, 25 and 50 yards. Straight in at 7 yards and 15, neck or head at 25 and 50. The elevation screw is to fine tune according to wind and sun differences. If it has been shot, you should be in the neighborhood with 148 WC ammo. My Model 10 has an Aristocrat rib which adjusts at the front sight.
