Default 66-2 Target Grip Compatibility

This topic relates to speed loader compatibility. I know the fully relieved K frame target stocks provided speed loader compatibility but could someone comment on whether the “football” cutout also permits ease of speedloader use?

Sometimes........I think IIRC the Safariland Comp I does; Comp II maybe,Comp III no way........ Football cutout don't get used much anymore... I moved carry guns to Spegel Boot grips in the 80s.

HKS maybe but real tight..... I use to have some but switched to Safariland years ago.

I don't have a set to try this out on, but I think you'll be most satisfied with a full cutout when using speed loaders. You can always replace the original stocks and save them for future resale if you're contemplating a purchase of a gun equipped with the football cutouts.

Best of luck.
