Default Well The Results Are In

I shot the Arizona State Steel Challenge Match this weekend. I used my four inch 617 and it worked flawlessly. I had no failures to fire and extraction was nice and easy during the entire match. Reaming the cylinders really helped.

Although the gun worked well, I was really in bad shape after helping set up the match. Too much work for this old guy.

I managed to finish but that's about it. Outer Limits was my last stage and I had to shoot it sitting in my walker. Taking the 4 second penalty per run didn't hurt me that much in reality.

So now I have a year to practice for next years State.

I’m the same way, always helping with set up and running stages and my performance shows it. That said, I still help out, as I shoot for fun, never am good enough to be a star shooter.
