Default Can I......?

If I understand correctly, the S&W Historical Foundation has digitized its records from 1935-41. I have a K-22 Outdoorsman that was lettered as being manufactured in 1931.

My question is, since I know it went back to the factory in 1941, can I find out why and what was done at that time? Thanks.

The answer to your question is "maybe". Sometimes there is correspondence between S&W and the person returning the revolver and possibly a repair order. If the serial number is listed in this correspondence, the information may have been indexed and can be found using one of our search parameters.

Send me the serial number in a PM and I will look and let you know if I find anything.
