Default Question about SWHF

Not sure where to post this so I'll try it here.

I joined the SWHF quite some time ago and never made any requests for information. About two months ago, I sent a request (along with copies of the factory letters) on a couple of my revolvers. To date, I have not heard anything from them. As I understand it, they will search to see if they can find any information and notify me.

So... I have a couple of questions. 1) Is two months a normal wait? 2) If no information is found, do they notify you or simply not respond?

Any help would be appreciated.
