Default History request form sent but no reply

I sent in my form on or about 1 Dec 2016, for my K-22 history. As of today I have not received a reply. They did cash the check. Today I sent an e-mail to the address given on the historical foundation web site asking if I could get a status report on my request. I came back undeliverable.

I may have sent the form to the wrong address. The address on the form is in Warren Ma, the address given here and other places is in Kansas.

Any info would be appreciated

If you can give me a correct e-mail address I could send them a duplicate.

The process was changed late last year. See this link for the information that you require Smith & Wesson Collectors Association

Thanks. I sent them an e-mail. I imagine that since I sent it to the wrong place, it got forwarded. This was of course during the Post Offices Christmas/NewYears crush so it may have taken a while.

By the way I like your quote. In my early days in the USCG I worked in weapons and we used to say that a lot "If it doesn't fit the first time, get a bigger hammer"

I found my entry for your request. It was entered by me on November 26, 2016. It was for a K22 like you said. I'll go back and pull your original request from my archives and send the information to Roy Jinks tomorrow.
I'm sorry you haven't received your letter sooner. I do know we have have several letters returned due to address mix ups, but you should have heard from us by know. I'm sure it was lost in the mail. If you need anything further please email me at hollypaw@comcast.net

Thank you so very much. I really didn't expect you to do this in the middle of the night. That's definitely above and beyond the call of duty. You're probably right. What with the Christmas crush for the Post Office it probably got lost in the shuffle.

Again, thanks for looking for it.
