Short answer,YES they have value.As long as you don't use them or sharpen them.The longer you keep them that way the more they will be worth in the future.

Right now you can pick up knife tins fairly reasonable...S&W (Taylor) has produced approx: 21 knife tins...I agree with the other posts...keep tins intact and some day they may increase their value...
