Are these knives worth much any more?
I have 2 Texas Ranger Bowie knives and a S&W kit knife that has K1578 on a label on the end of the box. Im considering selling these but just dont know where to begin price wise as I cant seem to find any of them for sale else where

I wish I knew, have the TR's and 2 sets S&W engraved SN#108 and 9 and then just the plain knives they made in that era. If you find out let me know

Reaper,
Someone just sold one of the TR knives like yours but the case was not as nice. Search completed items.
Ebay May 5th item no. 280499696065 started at $9.99 and after 12 bids ended at $142.49 + like 7 or 8 bucks shipping.
Good luck with your sale. Bob

The Texas Ranger knife is one of 20,000 produced in 1973 for the Texas Ranger Commission. 8,000 came boxed with a S&W Model 19 and the rest are like yours. The $150 seems high to me but with eBay you never know. "Normal" price would be around $100.
The other knife is a kit knife. The parts were finished other than by S&W so you can't really say it is an authorized S&W product. Kit knives generally don't attract much interest but the kit knives from S&W also aren't seen very often. I would have no idea as to value as I am not into kit knives.
