Default S&W Sterling Commemorative buckle - value?

I hope I’m not breaking the rules by asking this question on this site.

I have one of the S&W sterling silver belt buckles for sale. This is the commemorative buckle, sterling silver, walnut presentation case. I bought it from a dealer in 1978 and it’s been in my safe ever since. Never been worn or on a belt. Only been out of the box a couple of times. Low serial number out of 1000. All original packaging in mint condition. I’m selling it to get money to put towards a 629 with 6 ˝” barrel.

I intend to post it on this forum for sale but have no idea of what it should sell for. Do the forum rules permit me to ask for thoughts on what it might be worth? If not I apologize, and ask the Moderators to remove this post.

This is the buckle I’m talking about. This picture is NOT of my buckle. This is a picture of the same buckle and case as mine.

Thanks for the help.

1972:

The last one I purchased was about a year ago at $150. A low serial number might help the sale.

There is a fellow SWCA member who dosen'thave access to this group. I know he wanted to buy mine. I think $150-175 is fair.
Let me know if you want to sell it.
