Default Just bought 2 new N frame S&W grip adapters...

they are oversize on both the N frame revolvers I tried them on...should they be trimmed or are they collectable enough I should just leave them alone and get something else? I'd like to use them, but they don't really fit well...
...Numrich still has a few, but not in boxes, for about $17... They are similar to the old Pachmayr's-some sort of nylon or plastic with spring steel clips, S&W logo.

If yours are like the ones I've had, the mis-fit is at the bottom edge of the grip adaptor. I believe what happened to these after sitting unused for awhile is the plastic tended to curl somewhat over time. My fix was a wide rubber band I placed on the bottom butt of the gun to stretch or bend the curled end of the adaptor back into place tight against the front strap. After a few days I removed the band and the adapter fit properly.

I just bought one of these from a forum member. It was in a box marked "Large" but the funny thing is that it fits my K frame just perfect. Is the large size for K frames and if so what would the N frame size be???

This is mine in its glory on my Combat Magnum:

Default These are supposed to be Large, too...maybe that's why

the don't fit right...They were listed at Numrich under N frame accessories.
Since I have only 1 K frame, this might be a good reason to shop for another one...
