Jimmy, Post picture of your knife, please. There are many different configurations of S&W knives with the S.W.A.T. markings. Most can be bought on eBay or at discount stores ( Big 5, Smokey Mt. Knives, etc. ) for $10 to $25 range. Ed.

I've owned several S&W knives, usually have one on me at all times. They aren't high quality steel but do the trick for Chinese import.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the information. I wanted to be sure I didn't have a "Rare Collectable" before I started using it.

Ive got a drawer full of knives, Gerber, Buck, Benchmade and a pricey Emerson CQB-7. There is also a S&W S.W.A.T. SW3400cs. I use it all the time one of my favorite knives. All steal, slim, the clip has stood up to years of use. Its not the best knife steal but its easy to sharpen. Ill be heart broken when it finally dies on me and I cant replace it. One of their best designed knives, wish they would bring it back into production with better material. Id pay $60 for one made of 154cm instead of 440 stainless.
