Stockbridge Street gate logo
I bought this last Friday after negotiating with the previous owner for over two years. We renewed talks at the gun show earlier this month in Sturbridge MA. After many emails and phone calls we finally came to an agreed price. It was on the main gate at the Smith & Wesson factory on Stockbridge Street. It is cast bronze, the weight is seven pounds. There are no markings on any kind on it. I think it would have been cast at the Ames Sword Company. They worked in brass and bronze on a regular basis.
