S&W Knife Display Case
Does anyone know if S&W ever offered a multiple knife counter top display case? What I am looking for would probably be a dealer display case. Glass top, slanted box under case with lock on back to store extra inventory under case.
Thanks

I'm not sure who offered them, but yes, there were two different styles as I remember. One was a horizontal type and the other vertical.

Mike remembers correctly. Pictures of the two types are shown on page 13 of Clarence Rinke's 1990 book " The Knives of Smith & Wesson" as Dealer Display cases. They were mahogany with glass fronts and a metal plaque that said " (Logo) Smith & Wesson" and held 5 or 6 custom knives. The S&W Dealer marketing packages of the period also describe & picture the cases. They show up on Ebay occasionally and on the sales tables at the annual S&WCA meetings. Ed.

S&W Knife Display Cases
My S&W knife case is the horizontal format. I got it 10-15 years ago from a relative. It currently houses part of my antique "Brass Knuckle" collection. More accurately, it's a 'Metal Knuckle' collection as I have Cast Iron dusters from the Civil War era, Brass dusters from the turn of the last century/roaring twenties era, Aluminum dusters from around the forties and a set of Sterling Silver dusters that a lady would be proud to carry. I'm always looking for additions. Too bad S&W didn't manufacture any.

I'd like to see some pictures of that especially the silver set.
