Default Buckles

Hi there I was given a box containing 3 buckles academy 1969 I was wondering if anyone could give me some info on these Cheers

G'day Mate welcome to the forum.
I cannot tell from your description which buckles you have.
Your best bet is to post some pictures. Press edit or post reply, at the top of the message dialog box you will see a paper clip icon. Select the paper clip and add you photo.

101 sets of these three buckles were made in 1990. They came in a Cherry wood case lined in red velvet. 100 of these sets were serial numbered on the back of each buckle, 1 to 100. The buckles were designed by Paul Piquette, S&W's Master Engraver, on his own time, but he never got paid his royalties. Paul owns the first set, stamped "Proof" on the back. These were the first Academy buckles.
