Default signal kit

I didn't get a gun at Sunday's show but found some interesting stuff. Another holster , 2 sight adjustment tools, an excellent P-2 catalog, and something I never heard of: a PROJECT A FLARE it is a gold knurled zip gun like cylinder in a 2" x 8" red rubberized case . 8 cartridges are inserted vertically into the bottom. A gold sticker with a green S&W logo on one side and a gold instruction sticker on the other. On the bottom cover in raised letters is SMITH & WESSON PYROTECHNICS INC. JEFFERSON OHIO 44047.I'm asking the collective knowledge out there for any info on these. Thank you.
