Can anyone here tell me about this knife?
It apparently is a "Custom Series" knife but who actually made it and what its value is is a mystery to me.
Thanks!

30+ yrs ago S&W sold "kits" of parts ( blades, etc ) to make your own custom S&W knife. The appears to be one of the kits, as assembled after market by the buyer. Ed.

I think it first appeared in Taylor Cutlery catalog #59 in the late 90's.
It appears that some were blade marked "Custom Knife" and some not.
My copy of the catalog shows it as SW1 priced at $212.50
It is a beautiful knife as were all of the S&W custom knives from that
era.

Thanks! The box is marked "SW 1" so I imagine you are correct!

It's a "sharp" looking knife.... excuse the bad pun .. it's Friday.
I've always had a soft spot for Bowie's .
The blade has that classic Randal Fighting Knife #1 look to it , another soft spot.
How did you come to own it ....tell us the rest of the story.
