"Burning Powder" by Major D.B.Wesson
My book arrived recently and I have yet to carefully read it. It is in mint condition and looked interesting to me. I am unable to search the forum with my touchscreen devices for some reason (when I touch blank to bring up keyboard it all then disappears). Probably some technical glitch I am unaware of. Is there much interest in these pamphlet sized books from the 30's? Only mentioned briefly in in S&W standard catalog 4th. The one thing I did notice is that cover has the exact same crinkle paper cover as the S&W 75th Anniversary catalog. Must have been a popular look back in 1931-1932. They both are about same size too...small

There's multiple editions of this book, by S&W, plus repos by Wolfe Publshing & others, so copies are not rare. The book is an intereting read, however. I've had a 5th edit for sale on this Forum for some time with no takers. Ed.

I have all of the editions of "BURNING POWDER" except for the 1921 2nd edition. Shown here are the First Edition Jan 1921, the 1938 Edition with it's original envelope and autographed by DBW and a rare 1938 hardbound edition. I also added a 1932 Limited Edition red cover, autographed. They are an interesting collectible.
