Default Smith & Wesson "automatic knife"

I recently bought this knife from a Forum member. No box or info. It has a 3 1/2" blade appears stainless dull finish with black handle. The blade says Smith & Wesson "U.S Army Issue". I looked in the "Bible" 4 ed with no luck. I assume since it was issued to the Army that would not be in the book. Sorry no pic. Any help would be great. Thanks Fred

That is a copy of a Benchmade knife that was “really” issued to the U S Army. Maybe worth about $40.
