holster chart
Thank you for posting. I've collected these holsters for some time and didn't have this guide. It'll be most helpful.

ko41,
I wish I had found this thread before I posted my question. Now I know what the code (B 34 34) on the holster I found at a garage sale means.
Thank you for posting this.
Now if only I can find a S&W holster for a 5" Model 27.

This is GREAT!!
Thanks so much for posting this.....for a wannabe holster maker this is invaluable info.
Great piece of nostalgia as well.
Isn't it interesting how proven styles stand the test of time?

Anyone have any info for a black leather duty holster marked "B30 96"? Has stamped S&W logo with spring retention snap. Pat # 3,942,692.
Numbers 30 or 96 are not listed anywhere in the above posts.

Got an original S&W holster.
I know this is opening up a pretty old thread, but I was searching for info on S&W holsters and found this. I just got a nice S&W model 26 holster off a forum member here for my Highway Patrolman and absolutely love it.
It was very cool to find the old ads for these holsters in this thread. Thanks for uploading them.

I think this thread should qualify for a "Sticky".
