Default S&W Silver Elite Chokes

Does anyone out there have a source for chokes for the shotguns from S&W in the Silver Elite series? I have a full set of the 5 chokes that came with the shotgun, but I would like to get an extra set so I can use the same choke in both barrels.

Default Chokes

I had the same question on here back in January that appears to have been deleted. The only source I could come up with was to have them custom made by Briley at around $65 a piece and a 8-10 week wait.

Smith and Wesson was no help, I was told to "google it" by their customer service.

The gun was made at the Akus factory in Turkey and
http://www.commando-arms.com sells their current models. I got a reply from Akus through their Facebook page and was told that they would have a US distributor contact me but it never happened.

Also check out Webley And Scott | Shotguns Looks like the same gun. I called them but they told me they don't sell the chockes separately.

I'd be happy with one complete set. I bought my Silver Elite used and it only came with two chockes, M and IC.

If you have any luck I'd love to hear what you find.

Dave

Sounds like you had a few good leads. Sorry to hear they didn't pan out. When I asked S&W they referred me to LSG in Texas who makes a lot of S&W aftermarket stuff. No chokes, though. I'll keep looking and post anything I find.

Look in the Brownells catalog, and/or contact one of their contact Pro's. I would think one of the aftermarket choke makers would have some to fit. Or, try Briley direct. They custom make the most precise chokes.

Default Briley seems to be the right way to go

Yea, you pretty much hit it, H. I came to the same conclusion, and since Briley specializes in thin wall chokes and is known for the best quality that seems to be the way to go. I don't think I want to risk a barrel to unknown quality. Thin wall chokes are difficult to produce properly.
