1000M 20ga.

I just bought a 1000M in 20ga. I am struggling to find information on it.
I am looking for info on the age of the gun (S/N FS690XX) and how many 20ga 1000Ms were made? Any info would be great.

I have a 20 ga. M1000 s/n FB810XX shipped December 1981. A very nice skeet gun. Send mail info & I will copy owners manual for you.

That is a very nice looking example of the of the 1000M granholm1995.

As I said in your previous post the 1000M 20 gauge was made from 1978 to 1984 when S&W discontinued their long gun line.
I do not know of a database of serial numbers and production dates of the shotguns, maybe someone will with that knowledge will eventually come by and share that with us.

Maybe give S&W a call, they might have the info.

Information from Smith & Wesson catalogs, brochures and magazine advertisements for the Model 1000 introduction dates and the serial numbers of the shotguns that I own.
