Default Model 1000 12 gauge mag limiting pin

I am in desperate need of help in regards to the magazine limiting pin on my model 1000 12 gauge. I originally bought the shotgun at a pawn shop when I was 18, it was and still is in flawless condition and it is my favorite shotgun. However, it is missing the magazine limiting pin and I as a foolish teenage did not even bother to check the mag capacity the first time I took it duck hunting and got popped by a Texas game warden who was nice enough to let it slide. I have searched high and low trying to find a replacement part to no avail. My question is, if I cannot find a replacement pin are there any other options I can do to limit it to two in the tube? This gun has been limited to recreation for 10 years now and I very much want to get it ready to go for dove season. I also have a posting in the wanted section if anyone has one for sale. Thanks in advance for any help I can get.

Thanks I'll give them a call. I am still curious to hear if there are other options for limiting the magazine capacity as they have a $25 minimum order and $12.50 shipping which sadly is more then I would like to spend at this time.

Simple......Use a pencil cut to the proper length.....Drop inside the magazine spring and you are GTG......

If you don't desire to have the original part, this universal shotgun magazine plug should work. fits most brands.

I see the pin must be out of stock at gunpartscorp. Maybe you can use a roll pin as a replacement.

Did you find a pin yet?

I don't know how handy you are or what you have available for tools, but it looks like it would be easy enough to make the pin out of a 5mm bolt.

Diameter of the pin is 5mm; overall length is 25mm; 1mm of each end is turned down to 4mm diameter; 15mm of one end is split with a 1.5mm wide cut and the ends spread apart slightly.

If you haven't found the pin yet and fabricating one is not in your wheelhouse send me a PM, I can probably fix you up with one.
