Good Day All,
I just bought a model 1000 shotgun in 20 gauge which is a sweet little semi-auto. The trouble is it suffers from what many have seen as the buffer o-ring has turned to goo. I dug out the junk and got it as clean as I could down to the retaining washer, but can't seem to disassemble it any further. The o-ring in available from a couple different sources so my question is can I just drop the new one in its place and clean every thing up or do I need to fully disassemble it to get it shooting again? There is a triangle slot in the washer, but I'm not sure of how to get it removed if needed. Any advise would be appreciated! Regards,
Zocko
