Default S&W Elite Gold Parts

I have an Elite Gold that is missing a spring in the trigger mechanism. In the searching I've done it looks like these are not easily found. But I thought I'd reach out here to see if anyone had an idea of where I might find one.

Thanks!
Lynn

I checked the SCSW4 and there was no mention of who actually built them. I'm thinking one of the higher grade Turkish gun builders, and they probably make other guns on the same action for different brands. Try and learn the actual maker and that should pave the way to parts. If it is just a spring, many quality gunsmiths can make up a spring to fit.

I did run across something that mentioned Dickison Arms and SKB Shotguns as making similar shotguns to the Elite Gold (I think all Turkish built). The information suggested parts from either company could be used on the Elite Gold. From their websites their equivalent shotguns look just like the Elite Gold.

My gunsmith just emailed me this morning that my shotgun is ready. So, I think he probably ended up doing as you suggested and made up a spring to fit.

But, it was nice to find that there maybe an alternative if there is a need for another part in the future. Knocking on wood that that is not the case!

Thanks for your help.

I’d expect S&W to have parts. Weren’t those covered by the lifetime service policy?

They were supposed to be, but my gunsmith got the equivalent of a shrug when he contacted them about parts. I did read somewhere that they had lifetime service to the original purchaser. Maybe they weren't willing to supply parts as I wasn't the original purchaser?
