I have a new 1020 and having problems field stripping by manual. My manual indicates that I should place safety on, press the carrier release, unscrew rore end cap, pull barrel off( came with barrel off from factory), and then pull the bolt handle out and off of the bolt. This is where I run into problems. handle dont seem to want to come out. The bolt is released at this point and not locked back. Also, the next step is to slide the piston assymbly off the gas cylinder. Is the piston assymbly connected to the bar and tube that surronds the magazine. Any help sure would be appreciated. Cant go any further until I get past this bolt handle thing.
