After seeing the advertisement for the S&W 1500 GatorFarmer posted, I had to post a photo of mine, in .30-06. Hope this works for me.

I still have the booklet on mine. The 1500 apprently came with iron sights. The 1500 Deluxe had no sights.
Bought mine in '81
