New to forum
Here's a pic of my S&W M&P 15-22, S&W SW9VE and H&K MP5 A5 .22LR.
All 3 are a blast to shoot but I have to say my personal favorite is the 15-22.
I've accessorized with a Magpul MOE Stock, UTG Foregrip, UTG Rail Covers, UTG Light & Laser, UTG Leapers Sight, Magazine Coupler and a Shroud Cover from Tacticool22.

Got my 15-22 about a month ago and still haven't been able to use it. Anyway, here's a parts run down
Magpul MBUS set
Magpul XT Rail Covers
Magpul MOE Grip
Magpul AFG
Airsoft LMT SOPMOD Stock
Bushnell Trophy Red Dot
Tactical Crayola
I knew what I was getting into with the airsoft stock and after playing airsoft around the country for the last 10 years, I knew the better parts to get. It's no where near LMT, but good enough for .22.
Was trying to replicate the mechanics of my real AR with this 15-22. Real AR is all in black, but features a real LMT Crane Stock, Magpul MIAD Grip, Magpul MOE Hand Guards, Magpul AFG w/ 1 long and 1 short Ergo Polymer Rail, and a Magpul rear MBUS.
I have to say I think I got "taken" on the sights I got from eBay. The price was too good to be true. I think they are the Magpul airsoft PTS line. I have to say I am very disappointed. Unless there is a difference between the FDE and black Magpul sights, the FDE ones on my 15-22 must be real knock offs or PTS. The finish is no where near as nice as the black sight on my AR, the FDE color is off compared to the rest of my Magpul stuff, and the spring is a lot weaker on the FDE sights, seems like the FDE sights deploy a lot easier than the one on my AR.
Other than that, it's just about done. Still trying to figure out a solid way to replicate the Eotech on the 15-22 with out spending $400 - $500 bucks on another one. Looking to spend $150 - $300 (preferable the lower amount) on some sort of "open" red dot.

Sighted her in from 75 yards yesterday. Heres a picture of what I got her down too. The Fliers were from rapid fire. The gun is accurate at 150 yards just have to aim pretty high. Not that id ever shoot anything at that distance but its nice know the gun is capable.

Took my M&P 15-22 to a .22 action shoot, I have now run 1,000 rounds of Walmart bulk .22 ammo through it without cleaning, not FTF FTE or FTF's at all.
Will probably clean it this weekend.

Looks sweet! Was it difficult swapping the factory quad rail with the Magpul hand guard? I like how it looks!

Yes I machined the front sight from block. People say they don't make one for the 15-22 and I wanted one. Having a trade is nice.

It is the Hogue grip that came on the gun and a Bushnell Trophy 1x32 t dot scope. I put a set of Magpul MBUS sights on it and a Magpul angled fore grip which is not comfortable to me.

Yup. Just a standard plastic primer spray paint. Its not as flat as I would like it, but like I said, a few months of use will fix that.

Just painted my 15-22 using the lace method. Looks pretty good to me. Its not dry yet but when it is ill throw some pictures up.
Went with a silver base, then black over it. Im gonna clear it with a satin clear in a few days after the paint is total cured.
also painted the BDM drum. Looks 10x better than see though plastic

Looks like my father and I expanded our M&P Family. He went up to Maine yesterday and picked up the M&P15-22
The M&P15-22
Close up of the logo.
Oops I broke it...
And Finally
The M&P Family (My M&P45 and the M&P15-22)
I'm definitely excited to take it out the range this weekend.

Here's mine, I've had her for exactly one week, and am dying to take her to the range!
I hit up an airsoft store for the carry handle and the rail covers came in at about $25 total.
The carry handle is metal, but the fit and finish could be a little better. Still, it clamps on tight and, as long as the sight picture is straight,
I think it will do just fine. Has the large and small sight apertures just like the factory, though I think the distance aperture is a little smaller than the factory sights.
Airsoft Megastore - Full Metal M4 M16 Removable Carrying Handle
The rail covers were the total surprise - in a good way! They lock tight to the rails, with no wobble, and each section is a link that can be separately removed and attached to the next link quickly and easily. So I was able to make the 4 rail covers that came with the package into 2 (almost full) side rail covers and 1 (almost full) bottom rail cover. If I ever do another order from them, I may order another pack to completely cover the rails, but for now I am happy.

Two mods left and she should be done! I want to get a nice beefy grip. Thinking about this one: Amazon.com: Hogue Rubber Grip Ar-15/M-16 Rubber Grip with Finger Grooves: Sports & Outdoors
And a brighter front sight post: Amazon.com: Tapco AR0902 AR15/M16/A2 5-Piece, Color Front Sight: Sports & Outdoors

Thanks to Brett248vista, tacticool22, PainterlyShotGroup, and Belt_Fed i have been able to mod my 15-22! tacticool for the free float adapter and barrel shroud, painterly for the dust cover, belt_fed for the extended charging handle and brett for all the "how-toos." I went with flat dark earth moe rear stock, grip, and handguard. might change to miad grip and i just ordered a lucid hd7 sight!
let me know what you think and im definitely not done!

Love the rail covers. Haven't seen them before, are they pretty stable?
