Nice. Pretty much what I want to do to mine, except an Aimpoint not an ACOG style. Very very nice.

What's that you have on the rifle on the two pin holes above the trigger?

I believe they are non rotating pins, possibly trigger pins.
Basically it means the pins can't and won't work free ever. They have to be removed with tools that aren't punches.

Kayback is right. That is the KNS Gen 2 set. They install in no time and work well.

+4 on the KNS pins.
I've never had FCG pins break on an AR but I did have a problem with the trigger spring jumping out of the grove on the pin and both pins falling out of my 15-22.

+1, but if you want to install a set of these pins go to Primary Arms and be sure you order the ones specifically for the 15-22, they are slightly longer than the standard AR15 pins.

NDZ offers custom laser engraving. They'll put on whatever you ask them to. It is not sold as a Magpul device.

It's not a "knockoff" part. It's similar in look and function to the MagPul BAD lever, but not identical, by any means. It's made expressly for the 15-22 and won't work on a AR15. The BAD lever won't work on a 15-22 without modification.
Do you consider every M4-style firearm a "knockoff" of a Colt?

NDZ does not sell "B.A.D." levers; they sell a Speed Bolt Release. The two are not identical, BTW.

That's correct SBR are sold by NDZ, my posting was kind of confusing. But both devices serve the same function, I own both and both are great products.

Thumb button wasn't an issue as we used pressure switches.
With that said, mine is mounted on an offset mount in the 1:00 position off the side rail so I can activate the thumb button....
And if you're clearing rooms with a 15-22, you have a STRANGE hobby. (And possibly a short-lived hobby.)
|
That would be dangerous. I have the light on there because I live on a small farm with a few animals. Part of the purpose of the rifle is to deal with any animals that might start trouble with ours. The light comes off as soon as I begin target practice, and goes back on when finished. I also turned the blue ten round mag into a 25 round mag, but because it is a little tougher to load I keep it loaded with either stingers or velocitors. So if I hear a commotion in the barn late at night it is ready to go.
Eventually the rifle will be supplemented by a true AR-15, but for now it is a good practice weapon.

Honestly though the more I post on this forum the less I want to be here Usually forums are a fun place to be but everytime I post you seem to be there to "correct" me or someone else. Sometimes the "corrector" is wrong though, but for what ever reason my picture has been removed.

If you had said up front that you are LE, then I wouldn't have said anything. My apology for not being able to read your mind and just wanting to keep you from getting in trouble.
BTW, the information I posted wasn't wrong; presuming that you were simply a "civilian" was. I freely admit that error.

I never said it was wrong for civilians it is wrong for LE or Law Enforcement, but if you had read my post properly you would have seen I said "if you have a tin in your wallet" refering to a badge. Also I guess the symbols for clubs and or organizations/employment next to each of our screen names means nothing or you just do not bother to look?? Sometimes small observations make a world of a difference in what is said and what you will say. Some people are just always looking to be heard or correct. I am done with this now I have made my point let the pictures flow.....

Otherwise very fun to have and they are worth it. So much fun to just pop off 25 rounds instead of 10.

No tin yet just some PBA cards lol. Taking a civil service test this coming December wish me luck!
Keeping on topic... Got some more 10 round mag's today.

Fun cheap practice! Has run on federal bulk very well and is super Fun suppressed. I usually start with the m&p 22 each range session to get warmed up hehe.

Hey all,
Does anybody know what brand grip that is mounted where the Magazine slides into the Rifle?
I like that and think it would be good to have.
Thanks

Hey there,
Thanks for the reply.... I dont know why i did not get the notification that you replied i'll re check my settings..
I'll have to go check this out... I have been told that proper shooting does not include using this area as a grip.. but it does feel comfortable..
Thanks..

My 15-22
Thought I'd load a couple of pics of my competition rifle. Mods include:
Butt Pad
MIAD Grip
NDZ Charging Latch
NDZ SBR Lever
CMC Flat Trigger 3.5#
