Thanks guys... It started out as a budget plinker but after the Aimpoint, Geissele and SOPMOD budget went out the window.

Atlas, the pens are extra fine point Sharpie paint pens. They require a lot of shaking to mix the paint, even after their first use, but they seem to work well.
Just know that the lettering is very narrow and you will get over-run, I cleaned up the over-run with a fine emery cloth, but a fine sand paper will work just as good. I finished cleaning it up with with 1200 grit paper to remove any scratches the coarser paper left behind.

I know a lot of people here color in the words on their M&P bodies, but I haven't really seen many put some attention into their magazines as well.
I went the tactical crayon route for these !

Nice job. The only thing I do to magazines is number them.

That is pretty awesome! I seen a few people post their painted guns and such and saw they often left out the color work on the magazines.
Glad some people also thought it was a good idea .

I use a hardshell enamel for my color fills. Have it on my 15-22, Sigma, and their respective magazines.

Just another carbon copy of others here.
Here's my simple 15-22. I kept it in good taste and tried not to hang to much mall ninja garb on it.

Sorry for my delay - I know a few had asked what all the mods were on my wife's rifle. Here they are along with a few more pictures.
-FAB T-Pod
-Magpul AFG2
-Magpul XTM Rail Panels
-Magpul CTR Carbine stock
-Spike's Tactical CAR-1 Fake Can
-Vortex SPARC Red Dot Optic
-ATN Javelin 125LUM Flashlight with Remote Switch Pad on cord
-Black rubber ladder style panel protector/ handguard rail covers
-I forgot which bag that was - paid around $80 for it. Ill get the name soon from my dealer.
Everything was taken care of by Cypress Armory in Cypress, TX which is basically Houston, TX. They handled everything and are a great place to check out for anyone around the area. Got another project in the works now for a Saiga 12 custom build.

Just picked up a new M&P15-22 with threaded barrel. The rifle seems a little heavier than my non threaded M&P15-22.

I think that the increase in weight comes from the iron sights that your TB model is wearing. The MBUS weigh almost nothing. Your mags look like L1A1 magazines. Sweet

Well, I can finally post my own picture in this thread. Here is my box-fresh and as yet, unfired Performance Centre model. (one of only a handful in the UK I'm told)
Plans include some sort of red dot, sling and a few other bits and pieces inspired by this very thread. But for now, I just plan on shooting it as much as possible!

If you post pictures please list what you have done (if anything) since others out there may be looking for a similar attachment. I personally am looking at high intensity lights and single point sling attachments on the stock. Hopefully soon I will be able to post my pictures. Thanks

How bright of a light and what for? Personally using a Streamlight PT-1L in a Viking Tactics mount. Only 110 lumens but light weight for the light weight gun. The PT-2L is brighter but bigger. I'm just using it for similarity with my Surefire equipped gun. It is 1/4 the price of the SF, but no where near as well built.

Great looking shots, and I just bookmarked your site. I've been a photographer for over 10 years now, but haven't really gotten into product photography. Great stuff, thanks for linking it.

Why back up sights if you have the red dot sight on the ACOG?
Why a vertical grip, mag well grip and a bipod?
