That barrel shroud looks great. Is that a Kineti-Tech? What back section did you use, I can't tell from the pictures..
Also, is it a tight fit? doe's it move or wobble?
Anyway.. looks good and thanks for posting the pic's.

New guy here. A before and after...
The Wife's was a spur of the moment, impulse, buy...mine was a dang I like my wife's gun, need one for myself buy LOL. Think I'm going to redo mine in OD instead of sand. Still waiting on the shroud from Tacticool22 for mine since I need something on the bare muzzle. Just doesn't look right without a flash hider. Both were bought last month at normal retail prices. The three ten (now 25) rounders I found at the Base BX for $17 each.

After searching for weeks and having no luck trying to find a dark earth model locally, I finally purchased the camo version 2 weeks ago. I've decided to do kind of the opposite and install all black accesories and scope. The only thing I have not purchased is a new black stock but I'll post pics when everything comes in later this week.

Thanks for the kind words. Yes kineti-tech shroud. Great company to deal with. Fits perfect. Goes into the hand guard about an 1/8-1/4 inch. Rear is flat ported. Fits great. No wobble. I have a suppressor I mount at times so the shroud is only hand tight without gun tite and it doesn't move at all.

Just got my PA micro dot, PA riser, and giessle SSA trigger in today. I would have liked to get the American Defense riser over the PA one, but they were out of stock. The PA should do fine on the 15-22, but the quality is definitely inferior to the AD one.
Trigger was easy to put in. Can't wait to get to the range and try it out. All I'm waiting on now is the enhanced buttpad for the Magpul stock, just need more LOP for me, and a magpul Vertical grip. They should be in tomorrow.
The obligatory ****** cell pics...
and with his big brother...

Standard Hogue grip change. Foregrip. NC* green laser sight. Top handle ... I prefer open sights for a .22 plinker.

The paracord bracelet was handy and it's just to hide the serial # of the rifle.
As for the rifle itself:
Ergo sure grip
CAA m4 stock saddle (to replicate sopmod stock that I have on my sbr)
Troy battle rail covers
Magpul gen 2 mbus
Kineti-tech custom shroud
Acog replica (holds zero perfecty)
Generic vertical grip wrapped with rubber electrical splicing tape to make it more "gripy" (on my sbr, light switch is under splicing tape)
Generic flashlight with mount (perfect!!)
Grease pencils used for tacticalcrauola effect
Midwest industries sling mount
Magpul RSA
This rifle is surgically accurate. Ridiculously fun. And CHEAP!!!

Yes I made the box. My wife lined it with the crushed velvet. It turned out well. I was thinking of buying a gun cabinet, but decided a gun chest would be a better fit. Gun chest's are not easily located. So I made one. Its always more fun to make things anyway.

$5 no name airsoft vertical grip! Now that I look at the rest of the pictures I definitely need to get some crayons and fill in the trades. What works best for that?

It's super easy to do. Here is a good thread on the subject... Letter Coloring Question
Basically clean the area, rub crayon over pressing firm to fill in the etching, clean excess off, touch up as needed.

New to this forum and found it just searching around looking at what accessories and upgrades people have done.
I bought mine about 2 months ago and honestly have not had time to get to the range. I wanted something a little cheaper to shoot than my big boy toys.
I have now just started to customize mine and simply waiting for parts to start showing up this week.
Then the next project will be to make my AR15 and my S&W twins. I will get some pictures up as the parts start showing up.
Everything I have seen in this thread is awesome, It is great to see everyone's different style and taste.
Good stuff!

I started getting some parts in.
Just the bipod, butt pad (for length) and the reflex scope. I am still waiting on some rail covers. The light I had on one of my pistols and just stuck it on to see how it looked.
I just like stuff clean looking and simple.

mine so far
I picked up my 15-22 a few weeks ago, didn't necessarily want the full camo version, but these days you can't be picky. So, I decided to add black to it to offset the whole camo thing.
Adds: Hogue grip, medium riser for yet to be purchased dot/optic, LaRue rail clips, painted the butt stock until I can get a Magpul, and crayola-ed the lettering.
Hope to soon add a Magpul angled foregrip.
