Default 15-22 rainout

I picked one up over the weekend and it's been rain rain and more rain every since. Other than the load one at a time in mag and the obvious cleaning/lubing/using quality ammo stuff is there any rhyme or reason to the fact that some have issues and some don't? In other words was it like the first ones had issues, the later ones seem better? Or is it just some have issues some don't. I know....just fire it Neal and see...I haven't been able to yet!!!

who really knows if your gonna get one that shoots right out of the box, or its gonna have issues, but i think..alot of the firsts out had issues, but i believe, they know what those issues are/where. and get them fixed pretty quick. Good luck, im in Texas too, and it has been raining alot off and on. Had enough of a break today to sight in my new scope.

It is a fast-food chain in the southwest that makes some of the best burgers around.

I suppose we have hijacked my thread here. On that note, all this WB talk and I gave in and had one for lunch today. You can order them w- grilled jalepenos and grilled onions along with the usual toppings/cheese and it makes them even better!!!

Well I STILL haven't been able to fire my friken 15-22. I was hoping to by now, just been hectic in my world lately. It's killing me that I don't no yet if mine will run out of the box or need to be tweaked by S-W like so many others. Wish me luck and I promise I'll report soon. I'm heading to Whataburger.

Lol at you guys and your Whataburgers. If you can't shoot, good to know you can eat.

No Whataburgers in my area, but the local Walmarts are having more Federal Bulk Packs in stock.

Hope to get my recently returned from S&W 15-22 out for a test in the next couple of days.

I hear ya on those Whataburgers... but my mouth still waters for a large Romanburger from Mr. Hero from my Yankee days in NE Ohio! Mike PS: My 15-22 shoots just fine thank you, even better than my old eyes will let it.

Well my fellow Whataburger lovers, it's finally range time. Got the 15-22 taken apart/wiped down/oiled and loaded w-Winchester Super X. Yes I loaded one at a time. Bringin some CCI also but NO Remington. Wish me luck, I really don't want to send it back.

Ok, FINALLY a report... It worked perfectly. Only had time to run about 185 rounds but it worked flawlessly. About half anf half between CCI Mini Mags and Win Super X. This w-e I plan on giving it a better workout but I was so happy I didn't have any immediate issues. I feel pretty confident that it's going to be ok and I had a blast firing it. From what I have read the issues begin almost right away and I got 185 through it. Cool deal!!

Mine missfed on the second round. No big deal, these semi-auto .22s just need worked in a bit. If your used to shooting a more powerful gun i can see the mis feeds might alarm you. Just keep shooting it and clearing it when you have to. My first mag through it was BAM, click, BAM, click......, after about 6 mags it is shooting GREAT!!!!!!!
