Default MP 15-22 Lower Reciever

Hello board! I was wondering if the lower reciever on the MP 15-22 is compatible with a smith and wesson MP 223. upper. I like the idea of being able to shoot this gun at my local range for a killer price. However, I would also like more stopping power in a self defense gun while I sleep at night and incase shtf. I've read all the previous posts on the 15-22 and have yet to find an anwser. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

sorry guys, found the info, Mod please delete!

No, you cannot put a 223 upper on a M&P15-22 lower.
