purchased a 15-22 as my first rifle, fired about 500 rds with a few misfires with the remmington ammo but beside that the rifle is great.any advice on cleaning & maint., stock sight set up, bigginers tips.the range i shot at is about 50ft tops. thanks to everyone with good advice.

You got a good 15-22 if it will run on Remington ammo. See if you can get some Federal Bulk and that may cure your misfires, expecially if the cartridge did not go bang.
