Aimpoint clone for 15-22
I'm looking for a red dot for my 15-22 for plinking and pesky squirrels. has anyone bought an aimpoint clone from RRAGES.com?
RRAGES.com GSG 5 Accessories
he sells them on ebay and on his site for $79 shipped. im not looking to spend over $100 on a red dot as this is just my fun rifle.
thanks

The mount doesn't look like like it's grabbing much more than about one slot.

I origionally ordered from rrages. When I got the product I was not satisfied. I ordered the Primary Arms M4. Much better for not much more $$$. Rrages does sell some good stuff, just did not like his knockoff. Rrages does have an excellent return policy.

I ordered an EOTech 552 clone from him today. I usually snub knockoff items, but like you I couldn't get myself to pay full fare for a sight to put on a plinker.
I'll post a review when I get the sight and try it out.

I got one of the Primary arms M3 for my .223 and it holds zero very good even after 300rd through it. So for .22 its more then enough.

+4 on Primary Arms. I have the M4 and also a 3X Magnifier. They offer a 1 year return policy.

i have a sightmark aimpoint clone mounted in a cantilever mount and i like it a lot. Co-witnesses without a problem, and was dead on with my sights when installed the first time (of course my sights are still a bit low and left with 3 different shooters)
i got it here: http://www.talonarms.com/talonarms/i...oducts_id=1057

I personally just bought a Tasco Red dot from wally world. For just plinking and taking out the occasional squirrel, it would be all you need.

The squirrel won't know the difference between a Tasco and an Aimpoint.

How tight are you all making the rail attaching nut? Just a tweak beyond hand tight or more
