Default 15-22 mag lip chipped

I have noticed the top of the mag lips have a small chip taken out of them .I think this is from the ejecting shell hitting the mag because the mag almost touches the ejector . It has not affected performace and the gun works well.I was just wondering if anyone else noticed this.I am useing two mags and both have the same chip out of them.I have shot about 2500 rounds.

Magazines are expendables. Replace as necessary.

Not seen the chip on mine but I have 6 magazines so none is approaching more than 200 rounds as the rifle only has 700 thru it.
