15-22 Barrel Shrouds
Whats happening folks! Been working on my 15-22 when i can. Absolutely love this thing! Its kind of like an obsession... what am i saying! It is an obsession. I have seen and heard a lot about Belt Fed's shrouds and have had a few pm exchanges with the man to get some insight. But wanted to see from the folks on the forum that have received their shrouds from Belt Fed if they would be willing to post some pics to give me some ideas!
Hey Belt Fed! Think your shrouds are great and not trying to second guess your work by any means, just wanted to see some different shots of what everyone else is doing with them so i can make my choice! Maybe I'll take one of each!

Are those the one attached by a set screw? Also the ones i see on Ebay?
And if so you think any issue with the GSG shrouds will affect your shrouds?

No it will not affect what I build... the reason the gsg sd is getting the recall is because if you port your barrel which is not illegal and put the original shroud on the gun... then it is suppressed. The original shroud is sealed on both ends and hollow in the middle making a cavity a.k.a baffle/housing ...the shrouds that I build are like the replacement shrouds if you port your barrel and screw my shroud or 1 like it on it will not suppress it at all.. if anything it would be louder .... hope this helps

Belt Fed thanks for the pics... and for not taking offense to the post! I like the really shiny one... i like the black one... d*** it! I like them both! Can you PM a quote for a multiple order and threading? On a side note how are you liking the NcStar Mark III scope. I just picked one up today. Is that the one with the laser and pigtail option?

No not in any way... I'm pretty sure they started that after I posted pics of my first 1 but I have no ideal. everone has their own twist I guess.. I'm not trying to make money at this I have just figured up what the machine time is that I don't own.. so that the owner gets something for the wear and tear on his machines... I enjoy guns and I'm anal about my work... I enjoy it..this is something I do between down time on belt fed guns.. so as long as I can help people and cover the machine time ill continue to help... chattanoogaphil has seen how much time I put in these and knows what I get on them.. it really don't even cover the machine time...so I hope the mods don't think I'm a vinder or even trying to make money... and close this thread cause I'm not selling them here...

If you want quotes you can pm me through the classified section.. I don't want to get in trouble cause I'm not trying to sell anything in the long gun forum

Good idea, I know you didn't try and sell anything. But it may be construed that way if not taking the talk elsewhere, I didn't know they had a classifieds here.

I think in general he means not to discuss it here and take it to PM.
Mainly since the thread and OP wants to see pics and not a bunch of business talk as im sure the mods don't either.
I should have known better since ive been on the web and forums long enough to know that by now.
