Default Calling scope sighting in guys and best range to zero at.

Well we all know the last mess i had with scope and trajectories and all the learning i did in 11 pages of insane numbers and i think a few guys heads exploded.

To show im kinda worthy of more help i think i learned everything from that thread i could. But my setup has changed, And id like some advice on where i should rezero at.

I do own a laser bore sight now, Not as useful on the 15/22 as a pistol but gets me started.
I had to take my Nikon off and graft it to my new .17hmr and my 15/22 got a $30 Bushnell Sharpshooter 3-9x40 and boy was i and the rifle sad that day. But honestly the .17 really needs the better optics. This is what was on the .17 so it was basically free.

Ive already when threw the pain of fitting this scope and it took alot more height than the Nikon did to get my eyes working with it. Ive also gotten it shooting great bulls at 75' just starting slow while sighting in my new Ruger 22/45.
Ive tried this scope in many heights and positions on the rail and this is the only place ive gotten it to work and be usable.

I can NOT afford a new scope at this point, But soon i hope.

My question is and ill show a pic of the heights of the scope, Ill even measure if guesstimates aren't good enough.

The rear reticle is 1.5" above the charging handle and the objective at 1" above the rail.
Its a 1/2" riser with tall rings.
I mainly use 1300fps 40gr but do run the gamut of 1700fps 30gr too 1000fps 60gr and 1000fps 40gr target ammo and 600fps 20gr. So i need something thats almost universal. Except the 20 gr ones ill have to compensate for those no matter what.

Uses: Plinking, Target, Squirrel hunting.
Im thinking 50 yards for a zero. My secondary red dot is zero'd at 75' and ill keep that as its alot lower to the bore's axis.

But i will be doing 100 yard targets and im sure some squirrels may be out that far also, Id prefer to not have to compensate much. This makes me think 75 yards.

I wont be going past 100 yards so i dont think this is a good spot. So 50-100 yards is my range 90% of the time i would be guessing.

I hope to hit the 50 and 100 yard ranges Wednesday and see how the 15/22 keeps up with the .17HMR
Yes i even bought some target ammo in .22lr and im told the Aguila 30gr 1700fps ammo is really tight also. I snuck in a 15 minute + 2hour trigger job as i dont like to half-way do stuff so i hand polished alot and have a pretty decent trigger, At least half the originals pull weight. 3.5lbs if i had to guess.
