S&W Shipping 25 RD Mags

Do they only ship 25 rd mags when you send the rifle in for repair? Do they know what states they are illegal in? I just got mine back with 25 rd mag but I live in CA where it's illegal. So I'll send it out to rrages.com who pins them. But this is the second time they did this.

If I were you I'd just keep the 25rd. I have 25rd mags also and Live in Orange County. Ive been to indoor and outdoor ranges and no one has said anything to me. The mags looks exactly the same.

Did you send it in witha 10 rd mag? If so they screwed up.

The first time I sent it in with a 10/25 mag and they sent me back a 25 mag. Than I complained and they sent me 2 10/25 mags with the blue follower.

If I were you I'd send back the illegal mag, why take a chance? Btw, don't say anything on the internet about possessing mags that you shouldn't have, never know who's watching.
S&W should make the short 10 rounders, they're much better for bench shooting anyways.

I always load 25. I shoot mostly at Burro Canyon Shooting Range. It's an outdoor range. I see guys there with there 30 rd mags for there Assault riffles all the time (Ak's, AR's, 10-22's). Ive shot next to guys in Law Enforcement and they have asked me about my gun. Never had anyone say anything to me about my mags.
