M&P 15-22 Pistol
Anyone seen this yet? I just wonder how it might perform. Looks cool enough.

Brandy, saw a GSG 22 pistol the other day at the range, sounded like a 223 going off. Does Galco make an IWB for it?

Its a nice pistol but sadly its to expensive for what it is. For 100 bucks less you can grab the Kel Tec PLR16 Pistol and it's chambered for 223's. Wouldn't mind having the 1522P if it were sold for a bit less.

LOL! You're better off posting a little late on this one. Back in March, Mag318 (The OP of that thread) was accused by some here of making the whole thing up in Photoshop as a gag. Not sure everyone stepped up for their plate of crow.

Another product we Californians can't buy. I can't even buy M16 slings over the Internet because they are "assault rifle accessories".

I wonder what one of these would look like w/ a 4 x14 scope, green laser, red dot, EOTech holographic sight, sling, flashlight,
carry handle, and bipod.
Oh, yeah, you'd have to have a cross draw shoulder rig, too.

The ATF would just love you if you put a VFG on that. The white background kind of gives it away as a shop job. LOL at phils comment.

I saw one at a dealer's yesterday and thought it'd be great material for SBR-ing (Form 1, to appease the "you'll-go-to-prison-for-even-thinking-it-crowd") but I was wondering if the receiver will accept a standard receiver extension or would it need a stock assembly from 15-22 rifle.
Does anyone know?
Thanks,
Scott

I saw one (15-22p) today at my local gun shop in Ohio for $479.99. I was going to take a picture of it with my phone but it probably would of turned out to ******. He handed it to me and I looked at it for a min. then I handed it back, he asked me if I wanted to shoot it. I told him no, but I really did want to go out and shot it just because it's a shorter version of the 15-22. It looked fun to shoot and pretty cool. Just letting you guy's know that their out their.

The receiver extension on the rifle is molded in. It's not something you can add. The only way to do it would be to put a pistol Upper on a rifle lower. It would work out cheaper to have your rifle barrel cut, threaded and recrowned to whatever shorter length you want. You can cut your quad rail down with a Dremel. It would be pretty cool to see one set up as an SBR.

I saw the pistol today. I broke it down- (first time I have seen the different springs.) I could not tell much difference in the blue springs, but the bolt spring (white) was SIGNIFICANTLY LIGHTER as I was squeezing it. When I put it back together and the pulled the charging handle it just felt weird to be so light compared to what I have been used to.
Since the OOB a few weeks ago I continue to have more and more FTEject. The bolt got a pretty good nick on the top edge of the bolt face and I was planning on sanding it down and playing with ejector. But after seeing first hand just how much different the springs are (or at least the bolt spring) maybe I'll just send it back to S&W for a new bolt (if they chose), springs and whatever else they might else do. hmmmmmm.....
