EXTENDED CHARGING HANDLE PICS
Well i finally got some spair time... i had to be up for 26 hours to get the spair time but never the less i got some...
anyway figured i post some pics of a extended charging handle for a 15-22 i found laying around the shop...
Ok maybe thats a lie... I found a piece of billet aluminum laying in the shop and a few hours later.. whaaaalaaa.. i have two sets of optics and now i have 2 triggers.. well sort of
Can you see it
http://
A little closer for the elderly (phil)
http://
ok no more smart butt coments heres the pics... still havent finished it but it works.. and alot easier to use.. i can chamber a round without even looking at the gun in anyway.. very smooth transition

you would not believe how much quicker the charge time is.. not having to look down.. my wife says its much easier to cock while shooting off a bench just because you can charge it and never move the gun or your eye from the scope

I think i need one also, I just never have money when i need it. lol
With my large Centerpoint scope i definitely could use one, But my smaller Nikon is going back on and it wont be so bad.
But still, Its a great add on.

Belt_Fed:
Add me to the list, please. (Do repeat customers get "frequent buyers" place in line?)
I've never lived in Tennessee but I always wanted to live there.

Dude, you gotta count me in for one! this is something I have been requesting in my unofficial accessories wishlist thread. Reason being is cuz I love having one on my AR.
Is it to early to talk price in public?
Do you think the Roll pin will survive? I know that the pull force is lighter than a standard AR, so you would think the roll pin would be ok. If not, start milling roll pins too. Hehe

I agree and it really has a nice ring to it kind of like how Magpul is. Now, the next question is will belt_fed be doing more accessories to add to the list?
I kinda like the idea of a BAD-style lever or maybe even a custom sleeve that comes pre-installed with either a standard A2 front sight or a "gas block" mount for a folding sight. 'Course, my real dream would be a 13-inch quad rail handguard that directly mates the the 15-22 without an adapter.
I mean, a girl can dream right?

Just picked up my 15-22 today and ran 450 rds through it. With my big hands, I'm definitely interested in one of the charging handles.

Wilson combat among many others have been making these also and it isn't a good mod.
I know of charging handle breakage with these, as you are now instead of pulling the charging handle straight back you are pulling off to the left.
DYODD............ Just a FYI.

well if the standard ar charging handle was the same as the 15-22 then you could just buy the wilson combat release.. the problem is they r not the same...as to the leverage breaking stuff: if u consider that the spring weight is nearly nothing compaired to a ar-15 in the 15-22.. and that they r about 2/3s the length of a ar charging handle id think you would have to get pretty stupid with it to break something in the 2 inch of travel they have.. and the extra .5" of leverage we are adding... this is my .02 and nothing more but ive cycled my 15-22 close to as much or more than probable anyone else on here my .02 i guess is still only worth .02 but its still my .02 ... i think

I'm sorry. I jumped to conclusions and thought he was talking about the .223................ THOSE were the failures I spoke about. Apologies.

And if your worried about breakage on the ar's, then just buy a BCM mod 4 and be done with it.
