Hello everyone. I am new to the forum(obviously) and was wondering if this rifle is similar to the m4/m16 other ar's etc... as far as the rails and whatnot. Most of the weaver rail goodies will have no problems. That scope looks like it's for dovetails so that's the wrong mount. The extension tube is mil spec so the mil spec Magpul goodies will fit.

Hey thanks. That was my other question about the magpul stuff. Though, I believe that this is in the wrong section since I just seen a section dedicated just for m&p 15-22's. So, my bad on that...and you're just jealous because Sid the Kid is a BA
The best thing about the 15-22 is it functions the closest (bolt stays open at empty) and breaks apart very similiar to an AR-15/M4. Its a great platform to train on or be introduced to Assault Rifles on. The best advice I can give you is to skip the Tasco and get a TRUGLO. I compared the two as cheap dots, and the TRUGLO seemed much more quality. A lot of reviews on the internet seem to agree. The parallax of the dot is very low and its great for shooting with both eyes open. I think i paid $50 at Dunhams for it, so I'm sure you can order it much cheaper online.
