Default just back from the factory

Just got mine back from the factory. says they updated to the latest specs, replaced some springs and replaced the 10 round long mag. also sent two shorties. very cool. let's just hope it shoots now. will try it out after work.

My prediction is that it will shoot and will soon become your favorite gun. That's what happened to me anyways.

Mine is on it's way home from S&W, will be here Friday.... CANT WAIT. Did they send you the shorties for a "sorry your gun broke, here are a couple mags" or did you order them?

i was told to include a note explaining the issues with the gun. mentioned that i only tried the one mag. but had ordered a shortie. they replaced the 10 round long mag and sent two shorties but no explination why. I have read that it's typical for them to send complimentary mags. by the way. the gun shoots great now.

I got mine back today. Figured I dig up a similar thread than to start a new.

I had requested a call tag via email for OOB and FTEject issues with my DTH. I received a letter simply stating it was brought to "current spec". It shipped within 4 days once it had arrived at S&W via fedex ground. Hoped they would included freebie mag/s like I had read previous but no luck. I was happy to get a box as mine was purchased second hand and previous owner had dis-guarded the original.

The trigger spring and recoil spring had been replaced with blue version along with the original magazine with the newer "25 rnd" version, and that the bolt looks brand new. Maybe variance in the bolt face? The revised roll pin extractor I believe as well. Looking at the feed ramp looks as if it was untouched. I won't have the opportunity to shoot the gun for another week, hoping they got it right this time.

Easy Return process, Quick turnaround, Free box.

The same person that started this thread has yet another thead of having to send it back AGAIN... that thread is much newer than this one. As its not a week old yet. Any way, I hope your rifle works well for you now.
