Hi everyone, I just wanted to take a moment and formally introduce myself. my name is Tim and I have just recently bought a M&P 15-22 for myself and my wife to have some fun with. I wanted a good looking and easy enough gun for my wife learn with and feel comfortable using.
It was very important to me to have my wife enjoy and be involved when I go shooting and she is very frightened of the higher cal. guns so I did some research and it came down to the Colt and the M&P 15-22. after some more research and alot of talking with others (gun store owners) it came down to the M&P 15-22, and I must say I have no regrets. this gun is so much fun shooting and it's nice to know it's not costing me an arm and a leg to go shooting all day!
The wife is very happy and now enjoys coming with me and she is actually getting pretty good. she gets real funny and happy when she can hit the target now and actually see results. she's a good spotter as well. I just can't say enough how much fun this gun is and the enjoyment it brings us.
Also - I wanted to thank all of you for the vast very impressive knowledge you all posess, the info you share and the videos are great! I was on Youtube for some time watching videos when I was deciding on what gun to get and then after I joined this forum the other day and noticed some of you made the videos I must have watched 100 times. just made feel that I honestly made the right choice. Thank you.
