Default bent ejector pin bent ??

So today was the first time firing the gun. I ran 100 CCI mini mags without any incident.
I then tried some Eley Sport. Went through 50 rounds with about a 1 in 3 ejection problem. Next I went through 20 rounds of federal Bulk from Wally world with the same amount of problems. Either the casings weren't ejecting cleanly and getting caught up or they were were jamming inside meaning breaking down the gun and removing the bolt carrier group. In more than one case a round was jammed inside the chamber in the grove where the rail of the BCG slides behind the ejector pin.

I went back to the mini mags and they started having ejection problems too now.

Upon inspection of the ejector pin I noticed the end hook is now touching the bolt. In the video of adjusting the ejector pin by bending it up 1/20th of an inch I wonder if it's possible to bend it a bit to far to have it malfunction. It looks like after the bend you can still see a slight gap where mine is now litterally touching.

I think I might have to bend it back down a little.

Any thoughts?

The ejector could be dragging enough to slow the bolt and hinder ejection.
You want the ejector to almost touch the bottom of the bolt.
Also the hooked part should just clear the ridge down the center, (the part of the bolt that strips the next cartridge from the mag).

Snuf, thats how mine looks too. Its a little bit dirty, but not bad enough where it would bind, just a little sooty looking. Could it need cleaning and lubing after just 170 rounds?

Begining . . mine is DTX with blue spring

Doubtful, but it's worth trying. Make sure the ejector is pushed up, almost touching the bottom of the bolt.
If that doesn't help it might be time for a return to the mothership.
