Blue spring on bolt carrier not blue anymore

The bolt carrier spring on my M&P15-22 with A1 comp slowly has gone from all blue to black. Every time I shoot or clean my MP15-22 the blue would come off of the spring. Has this happened to anyone else? I am using M-Pro 7 gun cleaner, CLP and Hoppes Elite oil.

Same with my A1, I guess its just a thin coat of blue paint on the spring. No worries.

The first time I sprayed Winchester break free on my brother's action, every last bit of blue came off.

Same blue stuff on my M&P9 mainspring. Never caused an issue coming off.

If the blue is gone the spring needs to be replaced... The blue is magic.

Come on guys! The blue paint just identifies the spring at the factory, they all look alike otherwise. Same for the yellow paint on the JP spring set.
