Anyone know if the front sight post can be replaced with any standard A2 replacement, like the thinner "national match" at MidwayUSA? I find the thinner posts more accurate.
I would like to replace the front sight post too. Will any standard post work? Does anyone have a link to a site that shows how to remove the front sight on a M&P15-22.
I measured my MBUS front post and it was 0.100", if I was going to use the irons more I'd certainly like a 0.050 NM or something similar.
I have no idea if the 15-22 uses the standard A2 post or how to swap it, that said, the post is only a few dollars. Tossed in with a larger order it would be worth it to have and try to unscrew the post in the sight and replace it with the one you're bought.
