Default Range Report Federal Bulk vs Aguila Match Rifle

Haven't posted in awhile and notice lots of new member so thought I'd share a range report. Purchased my 15-22 about 6 months ago. Have run over 25k rounds through it and it has performed flawlessly, digesting everything but Remington bullets. I've experimented with a wide variety of bullets and for price/value I mainly shoot Fed Bulk unless I am shooting for accuracy over 50 yds. My experience has been that I get a couple of "fliers" from each magazine using Fed Bulk. When accuracy counts I keep a magazine of Aguila Match Rifle handy. It is twice the cost of Federal (.06 vs .03 ea), but produces much tighter groups especially at longer ranges. Happy shooting!

I'm getting used to the smell... maybe even starting to like it. Though... it'll never replace my favorite firearms related scent... Hoppes #9.

Up here in Wisconsin at the range. We refer to the DEEP WOODS OFF as the cologne of the North.
