Best folding bipod for 15-22

What is the best bipod for the 15-22. I have been looking at harris, utg...etc. But what is the best? Not looking to spend more than $60 on one. It needs to be a folding with adjustable legs.

Thanks

Harris or Versapod would be my picks..

Are the bipods that pop out of a foregrip any good?

I have 3 UTG's and never had a problem with any of them

Those are the $20 ones? What advantage does Harris get at 3x the price?

Yes they are the 20$ ones and I would think you get a little better quality material. I wanted a cheap Bipod that worked and these did the job.

Harris is the standard the others are measured by. They came up with a proven design and use quality materials. There are many other companies that have copied the design and some are lower priced and still as good. Rock Arms makes a nice harris type and Caldwell also makes one that's good. I had a UTG bipod that fell apart, I have never given them a second chance on bipod's so I have no idea how good their Harris clone is.

Consider a Grip Pod. I use
the Grip Pod LE on both my M&P 15-22 and my Rock River - Elite Operator. The Grip Pod is very well made USA product. Works great on a bench or laying pone. Two versions the LE has a heavy duty polymer legs and the military version has steel legs. Consider the LE model unless you plan on doing a lot of drop, flop, & shoot action carrying 60lbs of gear.

OBTW... consider adding a section of black butyl bicycle inner tube (26 x 1.9 - 2.2) to the handle. After you fit the tube band to the grip, use a rag and a little acetone to make the band slightly tacky.

tight groups,

tat
