Just bought a new 1522 last week at the local gun shop. Paid $389 + tax. Bought 4 magazines (14.99 each). I took it out on Saturday and put 200 flawless rounds through the gun. The 1522 is awesome. My 13 yr old daughter shot about 25 rounds through it. She can't wait to get to our shooting spot later today.

I shot CCI mini mags and stingers out of the gun. They fed perfectly and the gun went "CRACK" everytime I pulled the trigger. Accuracy was great at 25 and 50 yards.

Thank you to everyone who's posted on the forum. I used your information (both good and bad reviews) to make my decision. So far, no regrets!

Welcome and congratulations. I take possession of mine a week from tomorrow, can't wait. The S&W 22A is a fun pistol, I expect the 15-22 to be a fun rifle. I've got lot's of Blazer and Federal ammo waiting to be used in mass quantities.

I just picked up two of them at Gander one for me and one for my 13 yr old son. So far AMAZING!!! CCI and Federal ammo worked perfect in both. I shot 800 rounds and my son around 500. I outfitted them both with EOTECH sites and I could not be happier. Thanks for all the great knowledge passed down from you all both good and bad.
