Does anyone know if the Troy Ind. Ambi. Bolt Release will work on a M&P 15-22 wtih out mods to the gun or part? I know the Magpul BAD lever requires modification to the gun.

im not the most experienced one here but just by looking at it i think it would not fit.
i like the idea of it, i wonder how difficult it would be to make a custom one (cough* cough* belt_fed) lol he did some good work with the extended charging handle.

edit* i didnt know that you could bend the b.a.d. lever to work, no need for a custom one lol.

The BAD can be re-bent so the 15-22 doesn't need to be modified. Looks like the Troy model is very similar.

This is from a blog called Guns and Coffee (gunscoffee.blogspot.com) where the guy shows how the BAD and the 15-22 don't match up.

It doesn't appear the Troy would clear any better, and the Bad is easier to modify than the Troy one it appears.
